The quick way to multiply a number by 5 is to divide it by 2 and multiplying it by 10.
Have fun with the trick
16 x 5 = ?
Cut 16 to half by dividing it by 2.
16 รท 2 = 8
Multiply it by 10
8 x 10 = 80
Answer is 80.
